Riverina Raptors FC is committed to promoting and celebrating diversity across all aspects of our club. Scope

This policy applies to all players, coaches, volunteers, officials, staff, members, and spectators associated with Riverina Raptors FC.

Our Principles

  • We are committed to providing an inclusive environment where every individual feels welcome, respected, and valued.
  • We will not tolerate discrimination of any kind based on age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, socioeconomic background, or any other characteristic.
  • We actively encourage participation from all sections of the community, particularly those who are underrepresented in football.
  • We will promote diversity in our leadership, coaching, and volunteer roles.

Responsibilities

Club leadership is responsible for embedding diversity principles into the club's culture, programs, and decision-making processes. All members of the club community share responsibility for upholding respectful and inclusive behaviour at all times.

Reporting

Any concerns about discriminatory behaviour should be reported to the Club Secretary or a committee member. All reports will be treated with confidentiality and handled in accordance with our complaints procedure.

Review

This policy will be reviewed annually by the committee to ensure its continued relevance and effectiveness.
