Code of Conduct
Riverina Raptors FC expects all members of our club community — players, coaches, officials, parents, volunteers, and spectators — to uphold the highest standards of behaviour. Football is a game built on respect, and we expect all participants to reflect those values on and off the field.
All Members Must
- Treat all participants — teammates, opponents, officials, and spectators — with respect and dignity.
- Behave in a manner that reflects positively on themselves, the club, and the sport.
- Respect the decisions of referees and match officials, even when in disagreement.
- Refrain from the use of offensive, abusive, racist, or discriminatory language or gestures.
- Comply with all club rules, competition regulations, and the laws of the game.
- Report incidents of misconduct to the appropriate club official.
- Maintain confidentiality on sensitive club matters.
- Avoid conflicts of interest or declare them when they arise.
Players Must
- Play fairly, with commitment and sportsmanship.
- Respect their teammates, coaches, and opponents.
- Attend training and matches punctually and notify coaches in advance of any absences.
- Refrain from the use of performance-enhancing drugs or alcohol before or during matches.
- Accept victory and defeat with grace.
Coaches and Officials Must
- Lead by example at all times.
- Prioritise the safety and wellbeing of players above results.
- Provide constructive, positive feedback.
- Never physically or verbally abuse players, officials, or spectators.
- Ensure their conduct is appropriate both during and outside of club activities.
Parents and Spectators Must
- Encourage and support players in a positive manner.
- Refrain from coaching players from the sidelines during matches.
- Not use abusive language or behave in an intimidating manner toward any person.
- Respect the authority of match officials.
Breaches of this Code
Breaches of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including warnings, suspension, or expulsion from the club, depending on the severity of the breach.
